Position Description:
The Senior Marketing and Web Analyst
reports
to the Senior Manager, Marketing Programs and is responsible for the
ongoing
analysis of marketing and web information obtained from a variety of
sources
including industry and analyst, primary research, financial, CRM, and
web
site data that provide business decision support and insight related to
demand generation and corporate marketing goals.
- Perform complex data analysis from a
variety
of sources in support of standing and ad-hoc requests including demand
generation forecasting and trend analysis, marketing campaign
effectiveness,
web site analysis, and other customer-focused, data-driven efforts that
provide business decision support and insight.
- Analyze business, marketing, and
web site
data from conceptualization through presentation using proven
statistical
methods
- Work with marketing automation and
CRM administrators
to insure data integrity; oversee data extraction, manipulation, and
analysis.
- Recommend candidates for usability
testing
including online marketing programs, web site pages, portals, and other
online programs and properties.
- Lead ongoing efforts regarding
marketing
research survey design, data collection, data analysis, and methodology.
- Provide a high level of customer
service
through expertise and responsiveness; take responsibility for assignment
completion and follow-through.
The successful candidate must:
- Be a strong independent researcher and
concise
communicator with the ability to understand and develop messages for a
wide range of issues and audiences
- Be able to understand and
translate highly
technical information to a lay community
- Be able to prioritize, delegate
and manage
multiple, potentially conflicting, tasks
- Have 5-10 years of experience with
statistical
concepts, models, study designs, and procedures; demonstrate proven
results.
- Have 3-5 years of experience with
leading
sales and marketing systems (like SalesForce.com and Eloqua) and web
analytics
tools (like Web Trends, Omniture, SEER, and Offermatica).
- Experience with Net Promoter
programs is
a plus.
- Thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic
environment
where ambiguity is common and individual initiative is critical
