Student Involvement

Students are highly encouraged to participate in the American Marketing Association of Kansas City (AMA-KC). Through participation, students will gain access to:

• Networking – meet industry leaders and find out about opportunities in the area
• Education – learn about cutting-edge marketing practices
• Resources – obtain marketing information and materials online and in print
• Recognition – make yourself known in the marketing community
• Savings – membership in the AMA-KC chapter is free to college students. Events are typically reduced in price, and sponsorships are available to professional development events

Students can become involved by joining as members, attending professional development programs, volunteering their talents, and helping develop special student events and programs.

Membership in the KC-AMA chapter is currently free to students.

Programs

The AMA-KC is currently offering students free admission (a $35 value) to professional development programs of the chapter, thanks to a generous donation from Google. Five students per event may attend at no charge. The sponsorships will be authorized on a first-come, first served basis. For more information, please contact staff@ama-kc.org.
